About Root to Bloom: Holistic Trauma Recovery
Vision:
Healing is inevitable when, in the rich soil of belonging, we root into our innate resilience and bloom into our power.
Mission:
To support individuals and families as they re-imagine what it means to flourish.
Root to Bloom Counseling...
-
was created for people who believe that, while bad things will inevitably happen, those experiences do not define us
-
exists so that individuals and families can find support in rewriting stories of pain, disconnection, or trauma into ones of resilience, strength, and meaning
Root to Bloom's approach to therapy draws on practices that work from the inside out: breathwork that calms a nervous system that has been on high alert for too long. Yoga and movement that help you reconnect with a body that may have learned to go numb. Meditation that doesn't demand perfection — just presence. And EMDR, a trauma-processing method that has helped people move through stuck places when talk therapy alone couldn't reach. These aren't wellness trends. They're tools — chosen because they work, because they're evidence-supported, and because they put you in the driver's seat of your own healing.
Parents and families: If you are trying to heal while raising good humans, Root to Bloom sees you. Parenting is hard work. Parenting while you're running on empty, your own wounds haven't healed, and the systems around you keep falling short — well, that's something else entirely. Children and youth are deeply affected by everything around them — by stress, by systems, by history. And when parents heal, families shift. Not because you finally got everything right, but because healing is contagious in the best way.
At Root to Bloom, you have access to tools that help support healing and family harmony. For those families who have kids that struggle with disruptive behavior, Root to Bloom offers RUBI Parent Training. And for parents who want to show up differently and need real support to do that, whatever the reason, please know that your experiences are seen, respected, and held compassionately here.
Imagine waking up and feeling — not stuck, but free. Free to move through your days with more ease. Free to respond to your children from a place of groundedness instead of overwhelm. Free to build a life that actually fits the person you are.
That kind of freedom isn't just emotional. It's physical. It lives in your nervous system, in your breath, in the way your body holds or releases what it's been carrying. And it becomes possible when we address what's real - from Root to Bloom.
